Former captain Ramiz Raja wants Pakistan's newest limited-overs captain Babar Azam to be more responsible with the bat and become a consistent match-winner for his team.
Babar is seen as the best Pakistan batsman currently and Ramiz believes he needs to be consistent in winning matches for his team like Virat Kohli. His contribution becomes valuable considering the way Pakistan batting line-up revolves around him.
“This Pakistan batting line-up needs him to score massively. What he has to do is that he needs to become a match-winner now. He needs to learn that from Virat Kohli and he has got the potential as he is just 25 years of age,” Raja reckoned, in an interaction (set up by Sony Six) with TOI.

Ramiz doesn't think the 25-year-old Babar should be compared with Kohli, who is called as the modern great. He finds the comparison unfair and feels Babar is still finding his way in international cricket.
“Virat Kohli is a proven match-winner. Babar Azam has played only a handful of Tests. He is finding his way in international cricket. However, I don’t think Babar Azam feels any kind of pressure as he has been compared with Virat Kohli,” he said.
Babar will lead Pakistan's cricket team in a three-match T20I series against England, starting on Friday.
