Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria is not happy with Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) decision to reduce Umar Akmal's three-year suspension to 18 months. Kaneria questioned PCB for their call on Akmal and asked if their zero-tolerance policy applies to him only?

Kaneria was handed over a lifetime ban after being found involved in the 2009 spot-fixing scandal. He always raises questions against PCB for not supporting him enough in his career.

Now, after Akmal's ban got reduced to just 18 months, Danish took Twitter and accused PCB of discrimination based on color and cast.

"Zero Tolerance policy only applies on Danish Kaneria not on others, can anybody answer the reason why I get life ban, not others, Are policy applies only on cast, colour and powerful background. I am Hindu and proud of it that’s my background and my dharam.", he wrote.

Akmal pleaded guilty in April to a charge of failing to report two match-fixing approaches and received a three-year ban for each offense. After the ban got reduced, he can resume playing from next year in August.
