Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir flew out to the UK in early hours of Friday, to join the squad for T20Is in England after testing negative for the Covid-19 in his second test. 

Pakistan cricketers have already played an intra-squad match for practice ahead of the series. They will play three Tests before three T20Is against England. The first Test starts on August 5 and the T20Is will kick off from August 28.

Mohammad Amir shared a photo on Twitter with his daughter before getting on the flight to UK, captioned."off to UK minsa m gonna miss u everyday"

Amir has retired from Tests to focus on limited-overs cricket more and also to extend his career by 5-6 years. He recently said the workload was taking a toll on him. 

"I should have first played one or two formats and checked to see how my body is doing and whether I could take the strain. I erred in playing immediately in all three formats and it led to injury and fitness problems.

"At least now I am confident that I can now carry on playing for another four to six years if I take care of myself," he had said.
