Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir and his wife Narjis Khan were blessed with a baby girl on Thursday. He made the announcement of the news on his social media accounts.

Taking to Twitter, Amir posted a picture of the newborn daughter and also added her name in the caption. They have named the little one Zoya.

"Alhumdulillah finally ALLAH ki rehmat zoya amir," the left-arm fast bowler wrote.

He received congratulatory messages from his teammates. Pakistan cricketer Hassan Ali tweeted and wrote, "Maa Sha Allah bhai congratulations."

While Junaid Khan called the girl child a blessing and replied, "You're very lucky that God gave you such a blessing of a daughter."

Amir and Narjis got married back in September 2016. They have two daughters after the birth of Zoya. The elder daughter is named Minsa.
