With the international cricket continue to be on hold owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, India’s white-ball vice-captain Rohit Sharma has finally returned to outdoor training on Thursday (June 2020) after 3 months Coronavirus-forced hiatus.
Post relaxation of COVID-19 lockdown, a few India stars including Mohammed Shami, R Ashwin, and Shardul Thakur have recently returned to the outdoor training and now Rohit has joined the others.
As the star opener has hit the greens after a long gap due to coronavirus pandemic, the 33-year-old took to his official Instagram handle and shared the photo from his first outdoor workout session amid the ongoing nation-wide lockdown to control the spread of the COVID-19 in India.
Sharing the post-workout picture of himself, the star cricket has mentioned that it was a good experience to be back in the park after such a long break due to the pandemic, saying he felt like himself after a long time.
However, the right-hander didn’t reveal in which ground he trained.
Rohit captioned the Instagram post: “Good to be back on the park getting some work done, felt like me after a long time.”
