India's batsman Shikhar Dhawan has reacted to the unfortunate demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He spoke on prioritizing the mental health in today's world. Dhawan understands irrespective of whatever field, mental strength is a must to survive.

Before coming on to the tragic incident, Dhawan in a chat with Sports Tak, gave an answer to a widely discussed question. He was asked to rate one among Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma over another.

Responding to the question, he said, “Everyone is special and that’s how you create a team. Every individual is different. Individuality is very very important, that makes the team. Like Rohit, at the start, he takes his time and once he gets going, no one can beat him. On the other hand, Virat’s consistency and class, it’s amazing. I feel very lucky and grateful that I have been a part of this era."

On Sushant's death, Dhawan tried to let everyone know about the importance of mental strength. “It’s a very tragic incident that happened. You don’t know what was the person going through at that time. But at the same time, it is very important, in any sort of league you are in.

"Whether it Bollywood, cricket, or business world, you have to be mentally strong, that’s what sets you apart from others. Reaching a place is one thing, but maintaining it is another thing. You might have the best body, but if you don’t have strength in your mind, then you will struggle,” he added.

Currently, the cricketers aren't playing because of the COVID-19 pandemic and Dhawan is eager for the game to begin. He is using this time to prepare himself for the contest.

"I am looking forward to that and I am preparing quite strongly for that. Mentally, I am already there, I visualize that I am already playing greats knocks, I am in great touch. That will help me when I go and play in reality. That’s the mental exercise that I apply. Once the government allows, we will go and play and you will see us winning lots of matches for India," he added.
