Leg spinners from India and Afghanistan, Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan came live on Instagram together. They discussed mostly cricket and later formed an XI consisting of players from India and Afghanistan.

Before coming up with the combined India-Afghanistan ODI XI, Chahal and Rashid talked about India's talent Rishabh Pant.

Rashid praised Pant saying the youngster has all the shots to make life hard for bowlers. There was an encounter between Rashid and pant in 2015 in an Under-19 tri-series in 2015 at the Jadavpur University second campus ground in Kolkata.

"He hit three sixes in a row and in the fourth ball, he mistimed but only to be dropped at short midwicket. Our bowler looked helpless and put his hands on his head, yelling in Pashto, 'now what do I do get him out?'," Khan recalled the incident.

Rashid continued, "He has every shot in the book and is one batsman who is very tough to bowl to. I remember bowling to him at a ground in Kolkata in the U-19 tri-series."

Afghanistan's leggie is called as the best T20I spinner currently. He shared his tactics against big hitters.

"Never pitch the ball up; they would clear boundaries with ease. It's about playing them on the back-foot and confuse them with the wrong one and leg spin. I always try to mix it up," he said.

Khan, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad, has troubled batsmen like AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli, but he doesn't like bowling in a batting-friendly pitch like M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

"When I come to Bangalore, I have so many things in my mind. Hopefully, I get a spin-friendly wicket (as the ground is small). It's difficult for me to bowl in Bangalore."

In the end, naming the combined India-Afghanistan ODI XI, they came up with this list:
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rahmat Shah, KL Rahul, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya/Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan/Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
