West Indies bowling legend Ian Bishop has come up with his best ODI XI of the decade which includes a plethora of match-winners and elite names from the limited-overs format.

Bishop revealed his ODI XI of the decade in a conversation with Harsha Bhogle on Cricbuzz.com. The opening pair in his XI consists of the two highest run-getters in the 2019 World Cup in India’s Rohit Sharma and Australia’s David Warner.
Virat Kohli, the leading run-getter in ODIs in the current crop of batsmen, was picked at no.3 by Bishop. Former Proteas captain AB de Villiers and New Zealand’s Ross Taylor complete the middle order of Bishop’s ODI XI.

Shakib Al Hasan is the lone all-rounder in the team, while MS Dhoni will keep wickets and also captain the ODI XI of the decade, picked by Ian Bishop. Partnering Shakib in the spin department will be Afghanistani sensation, Rashid Khan, bringing variety as a leg-spinner.
Mitchell Starc, Dale Steyn, and Lasith Malinga were chosen as the fast bowlers by Bishop to complete his ODI XI. Left-arm Starc and Dale Steyn bring in the left and right-hand combination along with pace and swing at the start.
