India speedster Mohammad Shami talked about how much Virat Kohli enjoys watching Rohit Sharma bat. Kohli had himself opened up about his liking towards Rohit's batting in past interviews. He loves the effortless hitting of India opener and the extra time Sharma has in the middle, which is a gift.

Shami, who had a chat with India TV, also responded to a fan when he asked him about better batsman between Virat and Rohit.

"Both have different batting numbers, have different batting styles, and both have a different approach towards the game. One is aggressive. The other is calm. If you even ask Virat, he will admit that he enjoys watching Rohit bat. And not just for Virat, that is the case for any other batsman in the world. But if you ask me, I wouldn't as they are at the top. I would only urge people to not ask such questions and try to create controversies," responded Shami maturely.

Shami had picked up a hat-trick in the last World Cup in England. He had dismissed the Afghanistan batsmen Mohammad Nabi, Aftab Alam, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman to achieve the feat and became the second Indian to take a World Cup hat-trick after Chetan Sharma.

I can never forget that moment and I always miss that," he said when asked about his favorite spell. Shami also rates his spell in the South Africa Test series and that in Perth, back in 2018, highly.

ICC is thinking about banning the use of saliva after the COVID-19 pandemic. Commenting on it, he said, "I will still wait for the official announcement. But following the pandemic, I feel the non-usage of saliva will be the best solution. And whatever is the solution then, that would be applicable for both the teams. So, in a way it would be acceptable," he explained.

Shami is in favor of IPL before the T20 World Cup as it will be good preparation for him. He said, "Would prefer IPL before T20 World Cup. Both are of the same format. And if IPL is not possible, then there should be some T20 matches to help us gain that rhythm."
