With no cricketing activities possible due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis these days, almost all the players have taken to social media to keep the fans engaged amid the lockdown.
India's wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, like other sports fraternity, who is also quite active on social media having Instagram live sessions with his teammates amid the nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 crisis.
During a recent interview with a cricket website, the chinaman spinner, who made his India debut in 2017, has revealed the name of the toughest batsmen to bowl to in the nets at the national set-up.
To the surprise of many, Kuldeep didn't pick Virat Kohli who is a nightmare to even bowl to him in the nets, as the spinner named ace Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara ahead of India captain as a tougher batsman when it comes to bowling in the nets.
Praising Pujara, the spin bowler said he is one of the best players against spin bowling in the longest format of the game while naming Rohit Sharma as the toughest batsman in the ODI cricket. He further claimed that the upcoming cricketers are also good at playing spin in the present days.

Kuldeep told Cricket.com, “Toughest batsman in the nets is Cheteshwar Pujara I guess. He plays very well against any off-spinner, especially in Test cricket. And in ODI format it is Rohit Sharma. Of course, there are plenty of youngsters as well. They aren’t afraid of going for the big shots. So, everyone is good. But Pujara in Tests is really difficult to bowl to.”
Recently, the spinner has also recalled one of the memorable moments of his career and it was the Dharamsala Test in 2017 against Australia.
He said, “I get emotional when I remember my Test debut in Dharamsala. The most important thing for me at the time was how to perform. I remember a day before the match, Anil sir came to me and said ‘you will play tomorrow, you have to take 5 wickets’,”
