Veteran Indian batsman Suresh Raina showered rich praise on Rishabh Pant for his batting style, saying the young wicketkeeper-batsman is as dominant as Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag.
Raina, who has not played for India since 2018 and was due to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the suspended IPL 2020, even went on to compare Pant with Rahul Dravid, saying the left-hander reminds him the legendary batsman when the young gun young is on the song.
During a live Instagram session with Yuzvendra Chahal, Raina said: “He is a top cricketer when he plays well, you become happy and he reminds of Yuvraj and Sehwag, he is as dominant as them, when he plays the flick, it reminds you of Dravid as well.”
Pant had lost his place in the white-ball set-up to KL Rahul, while last played for India during their two-match Test series defeat against New Zealand earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the out-of-favor Indian cricketer has also claimed that Virat Kohli's explosive energy in limited-overs cricket is key for the Men in Blue.
Raina signed off by saying, “Virat is a solid captain, he has a lot of energy, he can control things, when you are playing shorter formats, you need a lot of energy and passion.”
