Recently, former Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh was slammed by fans for donating to Shahid Afridi’s foundation that is currently helping the needy in Pakistan. Yuvraj later had to convince the critics that he did it for the sake of humanity and not for the sake of helping a {akistani.

Afridi has now stated that when he was in Canada, he had made a donation of USD 10,000 to the foundation of Yuvraj Singh (YouWeCan) that takes care of cancer patients and nobody from Pakistan criticized him for helping an Indian.

"There is negativity from Modi government," says Shahid Afridi on the Ind-Pak ODI series

A senior Pakistani journalist Saj Sadiq tweeted Afridi’s statement. It read, “Shahid Afridi ‘When I was in Canada, I went to support Yuvraj Singh's foundation and announced a donation of $10,000 for it. Everyone in Pakistan supported me and nobody said to me why did you make that donation, why are you supporting India’".
