England’s 2019 World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan and his Adelaide-born wife Tara Ridgway have welcomed their first child to their family last week.
While the coronavirus pandemic has created an atmosphere of panic and sorrow all around the world, Morgan has a big reason to smile as England’s white-ball captain became a proud father of a baby boy with Tara announced the good news on Wednesday (March 18) on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Mrs. Morgan has shared an adorable picture of the baby boy while revealing that their first child arrived last Monday, March 9. She also introduces her baby to the word as Leo Louis Oliver Morgan. Tara captioned the post: “Leo Louis Oliver Morgan: 9th March, 2020 ????????”
With no cricket being played currently, Morgan can spend a lot of time with his baby and family.
Noteworthy, Morgan and Tara – who works as a public relations representative for fashion house Burberry first met during the 2010 Ashes series in Australia while the couple tied the knot back in November 2018 and months after the wedding, he led England to their first-ever World Cup title at home.
Morgan can be seen playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who secured him for ₹5.25 crore if the IPL 2020 takes place in India amidst the COVID-19.
