With the fast-moving global coronavirus showing no signs of slowing down, South Africa head coach Mark Boucher has suggested that cell phones should also be turned off for two weeks amid the ongoing "global lockdown" due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The COVID-19 effect has been creating lots of panic across the globe with the entire world battling a global health crisis because of the worldwide effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
The World Health Organization had already declared the Global health emergency with the COVID-19 pandemic has caused worldwide panic claiming over 7000 lives and 1,70,000 infected so far.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (March 17), Boucher expressed his views on the ongoing coronavirus crisis across the world with the deadly virus affecting as many as 162 countries till the date.
Former South Africa wicket-keeper batsman has shared a piece of advice, suggesting to avoid using cell-phones at least for the next couple of weeks in the global lockdown.
Boucher wrote on Twitter: “The only thing missing in this 'global lockdown' is the cell phone use! What about turning that off for 2 weeks as well!?”
Noteworthy, the coronavirus pandemic has affected all aspects of life including the sports and countries across the world are trying their best to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
