The El Clasico match between two La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona is one of the most anticipated matches all over the world and India opener Rohit Sharma arrived in Madrid on Saturday (29 February) to witness the encounter.

The Mumbai based batsman who became the first non-footballer brand ambassador appointed by the La Liga globally and became the face of the league in India.
“I have seen it so many times on television. I can't even imagine how it is at the stadium so many people sitting and watching El Clasico game between the two best clubs in the world. It is one of the most competitive leagues in the world,” Rohit had said after becoming the La Liga brand ambassador.
And the 32-year-old has now finally got an opportunity to witness the match live in the stadium, took it to Twitter and wrote, “So good to be in beautiful Madrid for #ElClasico can't wait for the game tomorrow @LaLigaEN.”

Rohit is currently out of the international cricket set-up as he sustained an injury during the final T20I of the five-match series against New Zealand.
