Sourav Ganguly, one of the most successful Indian skipper, recently completed three months as the BCCI president. Ganguly was elected as the 39th BCCI president in October and started on a similar note as, under him, India played their first Day-Night Test in November and has also promised a four-nation tournament with England and Australian cricket boards later on.

But just like while playing the left-hander had the core players like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble to his side, a reporter asked Ganguly if this was the case in BCCI as well.

While replying to the question of Tendulkar, Dravid, and Kumble of BCCI, the 47-year-old said, “Sare hai (Everyone is there), Jay (Shah) is there, Arun (Dhumal) is there, we all work together.

Ganguly avoids query over MS Dhoni's omission from central contract list

It’s very difficult to say who is Tendulkar, Dravid or Kumble. We are very good friends and we all come from different backgrounds. Arun runs a school, Jay has his own business and I have a cricket background,” he added.

Former India captain then went on to talk about his team as he said, “All of us think along the same line. And our main aim is to bring back cricket administration which was not in good shape for the last 3 years.

There have been a few changes in these 3 months and we will keep on working like this for the improvement of Indian cricket. We are playing well on the field and we want to keep doing well off the field too,” Ganguly added.

The left-hand batsman was then asked to rate his tenure in the BCCI so far, to which Ganguly replied, “It’s very difficult to give marks like this. As I said, it is important to run cricket well, it the right manner.
