The BCCI held its 88th Annual General Meeting (AGM) meeting today on December 1, 2019, and took various decisions pertaining to the working of the richest cricket board in the world.
In their latest decision, the BCCI named secretary Jay Shah as their representative to attend future meetings of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) chief executives committee. Shah, who is the son of union home minister Amit Shah, took over as Secretary on October 23 with Sourav Ganguly as BCCI President.

“Whenever the meeting takes place, Jay will go,” a top BCCI official told PTI. The date and venue of the CEC meeting of ICC have not been finalized yet.
BCCI CEO Rahul Johri was the Board representative for these meetings when its administration was being handled by the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA).
