Afghanistan restricted home Bangladesh to a mere 173 in the second innings as Rashid Khan led Afghanistan registered their second win in Test cricket in just three matches. Soon after Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by a massive 224-run margin, the whole cricket community congratulated skipper Rashid and Afghanistan for their success.
While everyone congratulated Rashid Khan and Co, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) made a major goof-up in their congratulatory tweet for Afghanistan cricket team which they deleted later on after the mix-up was pointed out by their followers.
“First wins are always special, Congratulations to @ACBofficials on getting off the mark in Test cricket,” read the Tweet from the Jaipur based franchise.
Here is the Screenshot of the Tweet which Rajasthan Royals later on deleted:
The right-arm leg spinner Rashid Khan was brilliant in his first Test match as Afghanistan skipper, as he completed his maiden 10-wicket haul by picking 5-55 and 6-49 in first and second innings respectively. The 20-year-old also scored a superb 51 off 61 deliveries in the first innings.
