Test cricket jersey has got name and number for the first time.

Test cricket first time saw names and numbers behind the jersey. It happened for the first time in Ashes 2019 first Test. From now on, every team will sport the new look in their upcoming Test matches. Even India will be trying out the new jersey in their two-match Test series against West Indies.

While some loved the new look, many wanted the conventional Test match jersey back again. They were not impressed with the name and number on the back.

Talking about Indian spinner R Ashwin, he seems to have liked it but has a different question to raise. He tweeted about the sweaters used by the players in a Test match and whether they should have the name and number or not? By the look of his tweet, he does want it which he found missing in the ongoing Ashes Test.

Ashwin on Friday took to Twitter and questioned, "Should the sweaters have numbers on them too??"
