India skipper Virat Kohli and speedster Jasprit Bumrah maintained their positions as numero uno ODI batsman and bowler in the latest released ICC rankings.
With the incredible scores of 140, 157*, 107, 16 and 33* against Windies in the recently held ODI series, Kohli remained at the pinnacle of ICC ODI batting rankings with 899 points. Kohli’s limited-overs deputy Rohit Sharma retained the second spot with 871 rating points to his name.
Rohit's fellow opener Shikhar Dhawan is the third Indian to feature in the top-10 list. The southpaw is at eighth place with 767 points while the veteran wicketkeeper batsman MS Dhoni is ranked 20th in the latest list.
As far as the bowlers' list is concerned – India’s Jasprit Bumrah is heading it with 841 rating points. Having taken 9 wickets in 4 ODIs against the Windies, wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav retained his third spot in the list. Kuldeep's spin partner Yuzvendra Chahal jumped up three places to be fifth on the list.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is heading the all-rounder’s list with 353 points while England remained the No. 1 ranked ODI side with 126 points. India is placed in the second position with 121 points.
