Gujarat Titans’ (GT) wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler won the hearts of fans with his heartwarming gesture on the streets of Mumbai.
Buttler shared a couple of Instagram stories where he can be seen casually playing cricket with young kids in Mumbai streets, displaying not just his skills but also his bond with the fans.
In the first video, Buttler is seen facing a young bowler who caught him by surprise with a pinpoint yorker. The England cricketer cheekily captioned it as, “Great yorker”.
The second clip shows the follow-up delivery — a flatter, faster one — which Buttler playfully dodges, captioning it: “Followed by a flat one! Nasty fasty on the streets of Mumbai.”
Jos Buttler has been in brilliant form for GT in the ongoing IPL. In 11 matches so far, he has amassed 500 runs at an astonishing average of 71.43 and a strike rate of 163.93, including the highest score of 97*. He currently sits fifth on the Orange Cap race, firmly in contention to finish as the leading run-getter of the tournament.
The Titans are also dominating the points table, occupying the pole position with eight wins from 11 outings. They need one more win from the remaining three league fixture to qualify for the playoffs.
