On Sunday, April 13, Jasprit Bumrah and Karun Nair buried the hatchet following a violent faceoff during the Delhi Capitals (DC) versus Mumbai Indians (MI) IPL 2025 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Bumrah and Karun were spotted hugging and chatting following MI's second win of the season.
However, Mumbai was forced to fight hard for the victory as Karun struck 89 on his return to the IPL. The Indian hitter also took Bumrah to the cleaners, smashing two sixes and a boundary off the pacer, sending the Delhi crowd into raptures.
Bumrah and Karun came together when the DC batter collided with the pacer. While the Delhi batsman apologized, Bumrah was upset and exchanged a few words with him.
Karun's 89 wasn't enough as MI won by 12 runs as DC crumbled in the end.
After the match, the Delhi Capitals posted a video on social media showing both men cuddling after the game to resolve the matter. Both Bumrah and Karun were seen talking it out and then hugging each other and make up with smiles.

During the post-match press conference, Karun described how he was able to play Bumrah so well. The DC batter stated that he was simply aiming to select the right balls to score. Karun praised Bumrah as the best bowler in the world right now but added that he trusted himself to score in the areas he wanted to.
"It was about picking the right balls and playing to the areas that I wanted to play. He is the best bowler at the moment in world cricket. So, I had to be very watchful of where he was going to bowl. But again, I just backed myself and backed the areas that I wanted to score," said Karun.
DC will next face RR on April 16.
