Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) Virat Kohli and mascot Mr. Nags had a meditation session that was shared on the RCB social media, and it was anything but calm and soothing.
RCB has been excellent in IPL 2025. RCB has played 6 games and won 4 of them. They are third of the IPL 2025 points table with 8 points to their name.
Kohli and Nags came together for a 'guided meditation session, ' during which the RCB stalwart was asked some humorous yet challenging questions. During the conversation, Kohli even mocked his franchise for their 17-year title drought, stating that it's never 'safe' to predict that the RCB will end the drought this season.
Here is the conversation between Kohli and Mr. Nags:
Mr. Nags: “Virat, since the last time I met you, you have won the Champions Trophy, World Cup (T20). Is it now safe to believe that... (hinting at RCB winning the IPL this year).”
Virat Kohli: “(After a long pause) With us, it's never safe. You can believe, but it's never safe.”
Mr. Nags: “No, I was going to ask you, now that you've won the Champions Trophy and World Cup, has the value of your endorsements gone higher?”
Virat Kohli: "Yes"
Mr. Nags: “Is that why you have archived your old posts?”
Virat Kohli: “I am in a very interesting space with social media. Currently, I am not in a space where I am engaging too much. You never know about the future, but it definitely needed a reset.”
Later in the debate, Mr. Nags brought up the number '18' element, which could propel RCB to the crown this year. When asked if this is the year for Bengaluru fans to believe, Kohli laughed and asked if the fans didn't believe previously.
With Kohli's shirt number being 18, RCB fans appear to have an 'inner awakening' that the 18th edition of the season will break their championship drought. However, there is a long way to go.
