Mumbai Indians (MI) is visiting Delhi to face Delhi Capitals (DC) in their next match of the IPL 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. MI arrived in India’s capital and begun training as well, but their camp was hit by a dust storm.
Rohit Sharma was in the thick of things as their plans were hampered when the temperature in Delhi and the neighboring NCR districts dropped unexpectedly on Friday, accompanied by dusty storms for the second day in a row.
The rain affected aircraft operations at the Delhi airport, causing repeated delays and diversions, as well as affecting the Mumbai Indians' practice session.
In a video uploaded by the Mumbai Indians on social media, star batter Rohit Sharma reacts amusingly to the approaching storm. As severe gusts blow across the stadium, Rohit can be heard chanting "comeback" to his teammates.
He then jokingly instructs the cameraman to focus on the storm rather than him. “Abey mera kya le rha hai? Wo video le (Hey, why are you filming me? Shoot the storm instead)," Rohit says in the clip.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow notice for Delhi on April 11, forecasting temperatures ranging from 23°C to 38°C.
While the storms created havoc, the gloomy skies and cooler winds provided a temporary respite from the heatwave that had plagued the region for the previous week.
The Delhi Capitals are the only unbeaten team in the tournament, having won four of their four matches.
Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, are suffering in the bottom part of the table, sitting ninth with only one win and four losses in five games.
