Rohit Sharma's relationship with the cameraperson hasn't been nice. In a previous season of the IPL, he chastised a cameraperson for leaving the mic on while he was talking to someone. He stated that anything recorded on the microphone would be misquoted, and he would get in trouble.
Now Rohit is embroiled in yet another issue, as fans expected, after a video shared on the Mumbai Indians' social media website went viral, reminding them of a similar event from last year's IPL. The video was posted on the eve of the Mumbai Indians' IPL 2025 encounter against the Lucknow Super Giants at Lucknow's Ekana Stadium.
Mumbai shared a six-second clip on their social media page with the caption: "Q: For how long are you going to watch this reel? A: Haaanjiiii."
While the clip highlighted Rohit's bond with LSG captain Rishabh Pant, who was seen walking up to the 37-year-old and hugging him, fans were more concerned with the first few seconds of the video, which featured a conversation between Rohit and Zaheer Khan, who is currently the Lucknow team's mentor and was previously a MI coach.
During those few seconds, Rohit can be heard saying, "Jo jab Karna tha maine kiya barabar se, ab mereko kuch karne ki zarurat nahi hai (Whatever had to be done, I did it properly, now I don't need to do anything)."

And now, keen-eared fans are trying to decipher what Rohit Sharma meant when he said those words to Zaheer Khan. Notably, Zaheer Khan played for MI in the IPL and was the director of cricket for the franchise before moving to LSG.
