Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) registered a thumping 50-run victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 8 of the IPL 2025 season at Chepauk on Friday (March 28).
It was RCB’s first win at CSK’s home ground after 17 years, with their previous win dating back to the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008.
No wonder, celebrations erupted in the RCB dressing room and their star batter Virat Kohli could not keep calm as well.
Kohli was seen shaking a leg to Humankind's 'Run It Up' song inside the dressing room. The celebrations continued even when the RCB players reached the hotel.
Kohli was seen grooving to the same track in the hotel while the likes of Lungi Ngidi, Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt were spotted dancing along to express their joy.
The video was shared by RCB's official Instagram handle with the caption, "A win so special, it got King Kohli grooving. This team! The vibes! We’re loving it."
Coming to the match, RCB posted a massive score of 196/7 on the board after being asked to bat first. Skipper Rajat Patidar led his team from the front as he slammed a magnificent half-century (51 of 32) while Tim David (22* off 8) provided a strong finish with three consecutive sixes in the final over.
In reply, CSK finished their innings on 146/8 in 20 overs. Josh Hazlewood (3/21 in 4 overs), Yash Dayal (2/18 in 3 overs), and Liam Livingstone (2/28 in 4 overs) ran through Chennai’s batting line-up.
