Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are locking horns with each other in Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Tuesday (May 21).
In the all-important fixture, SRH suffered a big blow in the very first over as left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc knocked over opener Travis Head with a jaffa.
On the second delivery of the match, Starc bowled a full delivery that got a hint of late outward movement around off. Head was looking to go down the ground, but the ball ended up crashing into the middle and off stump.
Starc dismissing Head for a two-ball duck gave KKR an early advantage in the game. The southpaw entered into the Qualifier 1 on the back of some audacious innings in the ongoing IPL.
