Virat Kohli with RCB insider Mr. Nags | RCB XRCB mascot Mr. Nags was back on the latest episode of RCB Insider Show and he had RCB star Virat Kohli as his guest. There were jokes, clever one-liners, and uncontrollable laughter. The most recent episode, which RCB has published on X and other social media platforms.

The episode begins with Mr. Nags, a character played by Danish Sait, discussing how Kohli is his friend since he is a common man rather than a pundit.

Recently, Kohli had taken a dig at the commentators criticizing him for his strike rate and he got a reply from none other than Sunil Gavaskar. Mr. Nags didn’t miss the chance to use the ‘Sunil’ reference in front of the RCB player. This resulted in a confused and funny reaction from Kohli as he tried to control his feelings.

Mr. Nags, however, was talking about Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri, who announced his international retirement on Thursday.

Here’s how the conversation went:

See Virat, I want to talk about a friend of yours. Not mine but your friend. He said a lot of nice things about you… Sunil,” said Mr Nags.

Who?” a confused Kohli asked. “Chhetri,” Nags cleared as they burst into laughter.

Kohli also revealed that Chhetri personally informed him about the retirement decision.

He actually messaged me as well, informing me that he is going to do it,” Kohli added.

But I would say that it felt like he is at peace with the decision. Over the years, I have become really close with him. I wish him nothing but the best. He is a lovely lovely guy,” Kohli added.

The former India captain also revealed how his daughter Vamika has started playing cricket and enjoys the “swing”.

“My daughter has picked up a bat and she has really started to enjoy the swing. But I am not sure. It’s their choice at the end of the day,” said Kohli.
