MS Dhoni doing wicketkeeping or batting is a very common sight when he is participating in a cricket match. However, to see him bowl is a rare event.
Despite having played 538 international matches, Dhoni has bowled only 22 overs in his entire career. He also has only one international wicket to his name.
While the international cricket saw him bowl a few overs before he hanged up his boots in 2020, the Indian Premier League has never witnessed Dhoni bowling.
Ahead of CSK’s next match against RCB in the IPL 2024, however, the 42-year-old decided to roll his arms in the practice session.
In a video shared by CSK on social media, Dhoni was seen bowling in the nets. The franchise captioned the post, “When he bowls, just ADORABOWL!”
MS Dhoni has been in fine form with the bat in the ongoing IPL season. He has mostly come into bat in the death overs and entertained the fans with his blistering cameos.
Dhoni has amassed 136 runs in 10 innings this season so far. He has scored those runs at a remarkable strike rate of 226.66, including 11 boundaries and 12 sixes.
