Rohit Sharma spent some time with the Kolkata Knight Riders coaches and players as his team, the Mumbai Indians’ IPL 2024 match at the Eden Gardens was been delayed by rain.
Before that, in a short clip posted by KKR and deleted later, Rohit appears to be unhappy with what has been going on at the MI camp this season in a discussion with KKR’s Abhishek Nayar.
Hours later, Rohit was photographed having an intense discussion with members of the KKR franchise in their dressing room during the rain delay at Eden Gardens, causing a new uproar on social media.
On Saturday, the IPL 2024 match between Kolkata and Mumbai was delayed by more than an hour, starting at 9:15 PM IST due to heavy rain in Kolkata.
During the delay, as players waited for the rain to stop, Rohit was seen in the KKR dressing room. He was seen speaking with the franchise's support staff, which included assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, bowling coach Bharat Arun, and players such as KS Bharat and Manish Pandey.
This has led to rumor mills on social media churning with fans speculating Rohit Sharma moving to a new franchise after the IPL 2024, preferably the Kolkata Knight Riders.
