Rohit Sharma, the former Mumbai Indians cricketer, was seen shedding tears in the MI dressing room after his side defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the ongoing IPL 2024 in the return match on Monday, May 6.
Rohit's dismal record in IPL 2024 has continued after his century against the Chennai Super Kings, leaving fans concerned as India prepares to begin their T20 World Cup campaign in a month's time. And it appears that Rohit has been broken as well, as the former MI captain was seen dejected in the dressing room following his dismissal for only four runs.
Rohit Sharma had started well, scoring 297 runs in his first seven innings this season, which included a 49 against Delhi Capitals and an unbeaten 105 against CSK. But in his next 5 innings, the ex-MI captain has managed just 34 runs.
In the recent match against SRH, Rohit was beaten on the pull shot by a length ball by Pat Cummins and Heinrich Klaasen took an easy catch. Rohit was disgruntled at his dismissal for yet another low score as he walked back to the pavilion with his head down. The cameras later caught him almost teary-eyed in the MI dressing room.
