Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are currently facing each other in Match 38 of the IPL 2024 season at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Opting to bat first, LSG drew the first blood in the opening over itself as Matt Henry dismissed Ajinkya Rahane for just 1. A brilliant catch behind the stumps from skipper KL Rahul marked an early end to Rahane's innings.
On the final delivery of the first over, Henry bowled in the corridor of uncertainty and Rahane went for an expensive drive. The ball took an outside edge of his bat as Rahul leaped to his right to claim a one-handed stunner.

Incidentally, the two teams are facing each other only after a gap of three days. In their last encounter at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, LSG defeated CSK by eight wickets.
KL Rahul starred with the bat in LSG’s win over CSK on Friday (April 19). He slammed 82 off 53 balls to help his team chase down the target of 177 with an over to spare.
