Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are due to face each other in Match 20 of the IPL 2024 season at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday (April 7).

Ahead of the game, MI shared a video of fun exchange between their star opener Rohit Sharma and DC skipper Rishabh Pant, who made his return to competitive cricket in the ongoing IPL after recovering from the life-threatening car accident.

In the clip, Pant was seen walking towards Rohit when the latter was having a chat with DC co-owner Parth Jindal. Both of them shared a warm hug and laughed their heart out over some joke.

In the ongoing IPL, Rishabh Pant has recorded scores of 18, 28, 51 and 55 from four innings. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma is yet to register a half-century, returning with scores of 43, 26 and 0 from three innings.

Talking about DC’s campaign, they have suffered defeat in three out of their four games so far. The Capitals are currently holding the ninth spot on the points table, featuring 10 teams.

MI’s campaign has got off to a worse possible start under the new captain Hardik Pandya. The five-time champions have lost all their three matches and holding the last spot in the team standings.
