Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya | IPL-BCCIMumbai Indians (MI) are not having a good time under their new captain Hardik Pandya in the ongoing IPL 2024. Hardik replaced Rohit Sharma as captain of the side in a controversial decision which irked and enraged MI fans.

On top of that, MI lost to GT in their first match of the IPL 2024 season in Ahmedabad and was then outclassed by SRH in their second match in Hyderabad.

On Sunday, the Mumbai Cricket Association quashed these rumors of the additional police force being planned for the match on April 1.

No instructions were given for this specific game. There have been set guidelines issued by BCCI on spectators' behavior over the years, that is a process that is followed” read an MCA statement.

Rohit Sharma recently played his 200th match for MI and Hardik called him a pillar of the Mumbai Indians franchise.
