Heinrich Klaasen, who is known as one of the most dangerous big hitters in the modern era, showcased his prowess in spectacular fashion in Hyderabad as he guided Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to a thrilling 31-run triumph over Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 8th game of the ongoing IPL 2024.

The dynamic wicketkeeper-batsman delivered an electrifying performance at the packed Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, smashing 80* off just 34 deliveries laced with four boundaries and seven towering sixes as SRH posed a record total of 277/3 in 20 overs against the MI.

Klaasen's performance was nothing short of devastating, and the presence of his daughter Laya at the stadium gave him extra motivation and made him feel special on Wednesday.

SRH shared a short clip on its official social media handles in which Laya can be seen enthusiastically cheering for her dad Klaasen in the stands. She was also waving the SRH’s flag with fervor, while her mother, Sone Martins, was also cheering for the cricketer sitting on the stands behind their daughter.

Notably, Klaasen and his wife Sone Martins welcomed Laya into their world in December 2022, while the couple tied the knot in 2015. His wife Martins is a healthcare professional, and she is currently on a break, accompanying Klaasen in India for the ongoing IPL 2024.
