Rishabh Pant finally made his return to the cricket field after 453 days out of action. He is leading the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the ongoing IPL 2024, as they play their tournament opener against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on March 23, in Mullanpur.
Rishabh Pant has been out of action since December 2022, when he was involved in a serious car accident and suffered some big injuries. He underwent surgery on his knee and had to endure 14 months of recovery and a rigorous rehab process at the NCA.
He was then medically cleared by the BCCI medical staff at the NCA where he was rehabbing. He came out for the toss for DC against PBKS in Mullanpur stadium for his first time on a cricket field in a competitive match.
