With the 2024 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) around the corner, teams are unveiling their new jersey. On Thursday (March 7), Mumbai Indians (MI) released their brand-new outfit through social media.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), MI posted a video, highlighting different parts of their latest jersey. The franchise also shared a link for the fans to buy the new kit.

The five-time IPL champions stuck to their traditional blue-gold shade with a bit of variation in design.

While the IPL 2024 season is slated to get underway on March 22, Mumbai Indians will open their campaign against Gujarat Titans on March 24 in Ahmedabad.

Mumbai Indians sprang a surprise last December by appointing Hardik Pandya as their new captain. The all-rounder would be succeeding Rohit Sharma, who led MI to five IPL titles in his 10-year stint as skipper.

This move came after Hardik returned to MI, following a high-profile trade from Gujarat Titans, whom he led in the past two seasons.
