Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered a 6-wicket defeat to Gujarat Titans (GT) in their last league match of the IPL 2023 on Sunday to bow out of the tournament with 14 points from 14 matches. Mumbai Indians took the final playoffs spot with 16 points from their 14 matches.

Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 101, his second consecutive ton and seventh overall in the IPL, the most by any batter as RCB finished with 197/5 after GT captain Hardik Pandya opted to bowl.

In reply, Shubman Gill also scored back-to-back tons and remained unbeaten on 104, and was well supported by Vijay Shankar (53) as Gujarat Titans achieved the target in 19.1 overs for the loss of four wickets.

After RCB's exit, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Naveen-ul-Haq did not miss the chance to troll Virat and RCB. His feud with Kohli has been going on since May 1 when the duo were involved in multiple heated altercations during the LSG-RCB clash in Lucknow.

The pacer and the batter posted some cryptic stories on Instagram after the verbal exchange, and the Afghanistan pacer has been heckled by fans of the Indian superstar with 'Kohli, Kohli' chants in the games he featured in.

The pacer even reacted to the same and gave a finger on mouth gesture to the Eden Gardens crowd on Saturday (May 20) when LSG played KKR in a must-win clash, which they won to qualify for the playoffs.

Now he's posted another cryptic story of a comedian laughing out loudly, without mentioning Kohli or RCB, but the fans connected the dots.

Interestingly, LSG's Twitter handle also subtly rubbed it in with a tweet after RCB's exit, as they wrote, “Give it? Take it? Let's leave it. Well fought, @RCBTweets. See you next season”

LSG will play MI in the Eliminator, while GT will take on CSK in Qualifier 1 with both games to be played in Chennai.
