Earlier this month, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Naveen-ul-Haq and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli were involved in a heated altercation during an IPL game.

Since that incident, Naveen is facing the wrath of Kohli fans on social media and in the stadiums as well. During LSG’s clash against MI last week, the crowd broke into "Kohli, Kohli" chants when Naveen came into the attack bowling attack.

Naveen also faced the flak during LSG’s last league match against KKR at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Saturday (May 20).

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Naveen-ul-Haq is seen taking heat from fans near the boundary who can be heard shouting "Kohli, Kohli."

To the “Kohli, Kohli” chants, Naveen reacted and gestured the crowd to shout louder.

Naveen-ul-Haq also silenced the crowd after Ravi Bishnoi took the catch to dismiss Rahmanullah Gurbaz during the 14th over of KKR’s innings. With the ball he remained wicketless and conceded 46 runs in 4 overs.

Talking about the Kohli-Naveen altercation on May 1, the duo engaged in a war of words during the 17th over of LSG’s chase. The on-field aggression then spilled over to the post-match handshakes as they had another verbal spat.

Both Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq have been posting cryptic messages on social media since their verbal spat.

The Afghanistan pacer has seemingly taken digs at Kohli. Naveen shared a story a few days ago of enjoying mangoes after MI defeated RCB. It was seen as an apparent jibe at Kohli and RCB who lost the match.

Subsequently, the RCB star shared a video of renowned American actor Kevin Hart on his Instagram story, in which the latter spoke about “grudges” and moving on from “negativity.”
