IPL 2023: SRH’s Harry Brook gets trolled for his ‘glad to shut Indian fans up’ comment

Harry Brook has scores of 13,3,13, 100*, 9, 18, and 7 in IPL 2023 thus far.

Harry Brook made 100/ against KKR for SRH | BCCI-IPLSunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Harry Brook was under pressure from the fans especially carrying his hefty price tag for which he was bought in the IPL 2023 auction as he failed to come good with the bat in the first three games for his team.

Brooks managed 13,3 and 13 before unleashing his brutal side against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as he scored 100* against them.

The young England batter had been cocky during the post-match interview where he received the Player of the Match award and said that he was glad to shut up a lot of Indian fans who were criticizing him for his form.

IPL 2023: “We are letting ourselves down with the bat,” says Markram as SRH fails to chase 145 against DC

"There are a lot of Indian fans out there who'll say 'well done' tonight. But they were slagging me off a few days ago. Glad I could shut them up, to be honest," Brook had said after scoring a 55-ball century against Kolkata Knight Riders.

However, since that century, Brook has not managed to repeat that form consistently, as he has scores of 9, 18, and 7. The Sunrisers also went on to lose these three matches to be placed 9th in the 10-team IPL 2023 points table.

Their latest loss came against Delhi Capitals (DC) at home in Hyderabad as they couldn’t manage to chase 144 runs and fell short by 7 runs. This led to fans brutally trolling Harry Brook for his comments.
