Two legendary former Indian captains- MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli- met at the sidelines of Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings on Monday, 18 April at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The match proved to be an exciting one, going to the last over. Devon Conway slammed 83 off 45 deliveries and Shivam Dube hammered 52 runs in 27 balls as CSK posted an imposing 226/6 after being asked to bat first.

In reply, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis (62 off 33 balls) and Glenn Maxwell (76 off 36) gave a scare to CSK, sharing a 126-run stand, but in the end could only manage 218/8, as CSK prevailed 8 runs.

After the match, the players intermingled and were seen having some fun time, including Dhoni and Kohli.

IPL’s social media accounts shared a video of the duo spending some time with each other where Kohli can be seen laughing his heart out in front of Dhoni. Both of them took the Indian team to new heights under their respective captaincy tenures in international cricket.

While Dhoni had an unmatchable record and consistency in the ICC tournaments, under Kohli the Indian Test team reached highs that were never seen before.

The win took CSK to the third position in the league table displacing Gujarat Titans based on a superior net run rate.

CSK will next face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 21 in Chennai, while RCB will clash with Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 20 in Mohali.
