Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has received a huge boost as left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan is set to the squad for the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). He missed the starting games due to his shoulder injury.
Mohsin was first bought by Mumbai Indians in IPL 2018 but he got the match opportunity when LSG bought the pacer at Rs 20 lakhs in the IPL 2022 auction.
Mohsin was influential to LSG reaching the playoffs in IPL 2022 which was their debut season as he took 14 scalps in nine matches with the best bowling figures of 4/16. He had taken wickets with an average of 14.07 and an economy of 5.97.

Earlier, it was speculated that Mohsin would miss the entire IPL 2023 tournament after undergoing surgery to remove blood clots in his shoulder. And the LSG franchise had already brought in left-arm bowler Jaydev Unadkat as a ready replacement at the mini-auction in December.
But now reports have suggested that Mohsin Khan has been deemed fit by the medical staff and is now set to join the LSG camp for the rest of the IPL 2023.
Mohsin would be another addition to the LSG pace department which has the likes of Mark Wood, Avesh Khan, Mayank Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, Yash Thakur, and Naveen-ul-Haq.
The KL Rahul-led side will play against the Rajasthan Royals in their next assignment on Wednesday, April 19.
