Mumbai Indians (MI) registered their second successive victory in the ongoing IPL season as they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by five wickets at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday (April 16).

Chasing 186 to win, the hosts batted exceptionally well to overhaul the target in 17.4 overs. While the duo of Rohit Sharma (20 off 13) and Ishan Kishan (58 off 25) added 65 runs for the opening wicket, the likes of Suryakumar Yadav (43 off 25), Tilak Varma (30 off 25) and Tim David (24* off 13) chipped in with vital contributions to seal the deal for MI.

After the game, Rohit and Ishan hijacked Zaheer Khan's interview and took him into their celebratory parade.

Former India pacer Zaheer, who was previously part of the MI coaching staff, along with Parthiv Patel, a former player of the franchise, were analyzing Mumbai's win over KKR on Jio Cinema.

As the group of MI players passed from behind, Rohit and Ishan took Zaheer with them as part of the celebrations. Parthiv was also taken as the presenter was left alone talking to the camera.
