MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have played two games in this ongoing IPL 2023, losing the opener to Gujarat Titans (GT) and defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their first home game at Chepauk.
Now they will face off against arch-rival Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on April 8th and the CSK contingent is prepping well for the mega clash.
Chennai Super Kings team was in for a pleasant surprise as Kris Srikkanth, the former India opener, and team mentor and brand ambassador of CSK in the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008, met with the team.

He also had a chat with MS Dhoni, hugged him, and also put his hand on the CSK captain’s head to bless him.

Meanwhile, CSK played their first home game in Chepauk after four years and it was a brilliant homecoming for MS Dhoni’s men.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, and Moeen Ali starred for Chennai Super Kings to help the team post a 12-run win over Lucknow Super Giants at their fortress at the M A Chidambaram stadium.
