WPL 2023: WATCH – Rohit Sharma and his men attend WPL final to support MI Women’s team against Delhi Capitals

Mumbai Indians are currently taking on Delhi Capitals in the inaugural WPL final at the Brabourne Stadium.

For the all-important summit clash, MI’s men’s players came to the venue to support their women’s team.

In a video shared by MI on Twitter, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Dewald Brevis, Tim David among others were seen checking into the stadium.

In another clip tweeted by WPL, Rohit and his men were seen witnessing the action from the venue.

Coming to the WPL 2023 final, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first. However, MI bowlers ran through the DC batting line-up, restricting them to 131/9 in 20 overs.

Hayley Matthews starred with the ball for MI, claiming three wickets by conceding only five runs in her four overs. Issy Wong (3-42) also returned with three scalps while Melie Kerr (2-18) chipped in with a couple of wickets.

Skipper Meg Lanning was the top scorer for the Capitals, scoring 35 off 29 balls while opening the innings.
