Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) falling out with one another was one of the biggest controversies of IPL 2022 and since then multiple reports stated that the all-rounder is set to part ways with the four-time IPL champions ahead of the IPL 2023.
Jadeja was miffed after he was unceremoniously removed from captaincy and consequently, he left the team’s camp in Mumbai after he was diagnosed with a rib injury. He deleted all CSK-related posts on his social media accounts which sparked furious speculation.
Now a report from Times of India suggested that CSK is doing everything in its power to keep Ravindra Jadeja in the team as captain MS Dhoni knows how valuable the all-rounder is to his plans.
Dhoni, 41, will be captaining the CSK in IPL 2023 which will go back to home and away format, meaning CSK will play matches at their home in Chennai.

And since the deadline of the transfer window, November 15 is approaching, CSK getting multiple offers for transfer for Jadeja, the biggest being that from Delhi Capitals who have offered a like-for-like replacement in Akshar Patel.
But the report said that MS Dhoni is hell-bent on keeping the Saurashtra left-hander with CSK as he believes in the ability of Jadeja. And he feels that Jadeja’s influence cannot be replicated by another player, especially with CSK playing their home games in Chepauk.
It is true, though, that Jadeja hadn’t kept in touch with the CSK management for a very long time. In between, he had an injury that kept him out of India’s T20 World Cup squad, and now he is on a comeback trail.
It remains to be seen whether Jadeja will accept continuing his decade-long association with the yellow army.
In addition, it was reported that CSK has decided to let go of their two foreign pacers in Chris Jordan of England and New Zealand’s Adam Milne.
