India’s 2011 World Cup-winning members like MS Dhoni, Ashish Nehra, and Gary Kirsten were seen meeting and talking with each other after the 62nd match of the ongoing IPL 2022 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday, May 15, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The match was played at Wankhede Stadium, the same venue where India created history by winning the first World Cup in 28 years in 2011 under the charismatic captain MS Dhoni and coach Gary Kirsten.
Well, after Gujarat Titans’ (GT) 7-wicket win over CSK on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium, the trio of Dhoni, Kirsten, and another 2011 World Cup winner, Ashish Nehra, were seen spending a light session after Gujarat’s win over Chennai.
CSK has shared a short clip of India’s 2011 World Cup-winning members meeting on Instagram on Monday, May 16, where they are seen having some chat while Hardik Pandya was also seen clicking pictures, like Dhoni, Nehra, and Kirsten were talking with each other.

Notably, Kirsten is currently the mentor of the Gujarat Titans, while Ashish Nehra is the head coach of the new franchise. Gujarat are dominating the IPL 2022, becoming the first team to make it to the playoffs. They are currently at the top of the points table with 20 points.
