During the ongoing IPL 2022 season, Australian all-rounder Pat Cummins is also enjoying the local food in Mumbai and Pune. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star posted a picture of his pav bhaji meal on Twitter on Thursday (May 5).
On Twitter, Australian comedian Adam Spencer made an amusing note about Cummins' tweet about the street food delicacy receiving more attention than his post announcing his engagement.
"The great @patcummins30 has 6x my twitter followers. Completely understandable. His photo of a room service meal got a higher % comments & likes than my announcing my engagement. Interesting. Pat I hope you find true happiness in your sardar pav bahji as I have with Leah!" Spencer tweeted.
To this, Cummins had an epic reply.
"Both life changing events but I think the pav bhaji pulls on the heartstrings a touch more imo mate," he tweeted.
Spencer's tweet announcing his engagement came in May 2021 and he is now married to Leah Boonthanom.

With KKR, Cummins has had a mixed IPL season.
He made the joint-fastest half-century in IPL history in his maiden encounter against Mumbai Indians, but he has subsequently failed to produce with the bat and has been pricey with the ball without repaying with many wickets. Tim Southee took his place in the starting XI as a result of this.
With eight points from eleven games, KKR is presently ranked eighth in the IPL 2022 points standings, after losing by 75 runs to Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday, May 7.
