Krunal Pandya and KL Rahul helped Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) extend the agony of Mumbai Indians (MI) in this ongoing IPL 2022, as they handed them their 8th straight defeat in the ongoing tournament, as they beat them by 36 runs on April 24, 2022.
While MI bowling showed some improvement as despite KL Rahul’s 103*, his second ton this season, both of which came against MI, MI managed to keep LSG to 168/6 in 20 overs. However, their batting failed once more as MI could only manage 132/8 as Ishan Kishan, Kieron Pollard and others failed to come to the party.
Pollard’s dismal run for form continued as his former MI mate Krunal Pandya had him caught by Deepak Hooda for 19 runs. However, what happened next has irked a lot of fans.
As Pollard was walking back after getting out, Krunal jumped on him and planted a kiss on his head, to which Pollard showed no reaction to the gesture. And though, both cricketers might be good friends off the field, Twitter was not impressed at all.
