IPL 2022: WATCH – Twitterati heartbroken after Virat Kohli dismissed for a golden duck against SRH

Kohli bagged his second successive golden duck in the ongoing IPL season.

Virat Kohli | TwitterVeteran RCB batter Virat Kohli’s terrible run continued in the ongoing IPL as he registered his second successive golden duck in the clash against SRH at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on Saturday (April 23).

During the second over of RCB’s innings, Marco Jansen dismissed Kohli for a first-ball duck. It was a pitched up delivery and the former RCB skipper played it with hard hands, edging the ball to Aiden Markram at second slip.

After his dismissal, Virat Kohli stood in the crease in disbelief. His removal saw RCB slipping to 5 for 2.

Notably, Kohli was also dismissed for a golden duck in RCB’s last outing against Lucknow Super Giants on April 19. The 33-year-old has amassed only 119 runs from 7 innings in this year’s IPL, with the highest score of 48.

Fans were left heartbroken after seeing yet another failure of Virat Kohli. They took to Twitter to express their disappointment.
